The Humble Museum building was damaged during Hurricane Harvey. No artifacts were damaged, but the building was in need of repair. During the repairs, major structural issues were discovered with the building. It was impractical to fix those structural issues, so the City of Humble worked with us to re-locate the museum to another building.

It was decided to relocate the museum to the old Charles Bender High School building. It would afford us a larger space, better designed for the museum. It would also let us take advantage of being located next to the historic Charles Bender High School building.
