Humble Train Depot (Other Places)


Humble Train Depot

Built for the Houston East and West Texas Railway in 1904, the depot was vital for people coming into Humble. The depot was located next to the railway tracks, in the center of Barrett Street (Main Street).

In the 1940s, the depot was moved a few hundred feet southward to allow Main Street to continue west .

The train depot was closed by Southern Pacific Railroad line late 1960.
